Beautiful Saguaro Lake
Saguaro Lake is a wonderful place to come. It is near to Phoenix, in Mesa, and is a very beautiful spot to come. The drive takes around 30 minutes and you get there on the Bush Highway. Very peaceful.

In Phoenix - Go to Fountain Hills
Fountain Hills is a small town and is close by. The main reason the we came here was to see the fountain, which is supposed to be the tallest in the world. It was pretty big and reaches nearby 180 metres in height. There is a good shopping centre close to the fountain. We sat outside for a meal and waited for the fountain, because it goes off once an hour - well worth the wait those. It was a lovely day.

The Nearby Town of Cave Creek
If you want to experience the old Wild West, then go to Cave Creek. It is to the north of Phoenix and has lots of great shops and bars. The drive was fabulous, lots of desert, rocks, mountains and massive lethal-looking pickley cacti.
